 about

The artwork is centred mainly around society, psychology and politics and the point where these interconnect and express the human struggle therein.

Themes explore how the individual deals with the

challenges of our current society and political construct.

I also attempt to examine how the natural world integrates with these themes and what will become manifest in the future, long-term, impacted by the gestation of such a relationship.

A longtime political activist from the age of 13 my artwork reflects this passion. Instead of my plan to study politics at Uni I was led astray into art when I was a teenager. Firstly working in the film and animation industry I was lucky to work with talented people, both BAFTA and Oscar winners.

I later studied qualifications

in ceramics, multimedia and then photography.

I now currently work mainly in clay at my studio in Bowes Park.
